Financial Mindset – How much money are You Really Worth?

Posted by grndstf on June 6, 2007

I spend my days working with people to teach them how to make money and every day, take a serious look at the mindset people operate from. It is very interesting to see the result of someones life as it compares to their mindset. Simply said, I can only teach people to make what they think they are worth.

First of all, let me clarify. Living a prosperous life is not really about the money, it is about the lifestyle the money provides. It is about the freedom, the choices and the options available to those who create their lives.

But the greatest challenge to me is helping people to see that the amount of money they earn is directly relevant to how much they think they are worth. I talk with people everyday who see themselves in a very small place, the challenge is to move them to see the bigger picture.

What does this mean? Let’s do a very simple exercise. Take out a piece of paper and without much thought, simply write down on that paper how much money you want to make this year. What did you write? Was it $1 Million, $500,000 or maybe even $50,000?

Whatever you wrote on that piece of paper is what you are worth (today)! Value is a perception only, so if you have the perception that you are worth $50,000 then I am sorry to inform you, that is all you are worth (at this time). But you may say… sure, but it is June and the year is half over, or, I don’t know how to make more right now, my current salary is this or this or that or whatever!

The fact is, 90% of the result is the mindset. So if you see yourself making only $50,000 then you have the mindset of making that amount. On the other hand, if you see yourself making $500,000 this year, then that is the mindset you are working with and your chances of making that amount dramatically increase.

I have said in many of my articles that making a Million Dollars is the easiest thing in the world, the hard part is DECIDING to make a Million Dollars. It is one thing to WANT a Million, but if you have not decided to make it, then you are just in a state of want and will never move past that with your current thinking. Your current thinking is responsible for where you are today, in order to move beyond where you are, you absolutely must change your thinking.

Another very important point is this…

It is not your job to figure out HOW to make the amount of money you desire, it is your job to DECIDE what that amount is. Once you make a decision, which involves a fever of desire and an unstoppable mindset, then the method will come to you, but you must DECIDE first.

Bottom line, as I said, I work with people to show them how to use a simple system to achieve financial success. But, if a person has the mindset of $50,000 then they will take this Million Dollar opportunity and make $50,000 with it. On the other hand, if they have a Million Dollar mindset and desire, they will make the Million. The other person will literally leave $950,000 on the table for someone else to make and then complain that the opportunity is not worth more than $50,000.

Think about it very seriously. What is your financial mindset? Whatever it is, is what you are worth. Let’s talk later about how to increase that mindset.

Make it a fabulous day, you deserve it.

We ARE Liberty League, not just DO Liberty League

Posted by grndstf on May 5, 2007

So, people ask me all the time what I do. Obviously, I work from home, have tons of free time, do what I want to do and am assisting my community. Liberty League is why I can do these things. The truth is, yes, Liberty League is what I do, but more importantly, I AM Liberty League. I love this company, the community and every thing that it stands for.

I started with Liberty League International in June 2004. Literally, I was exhausted, fed up with my management job and just tired of living someone else’s dreams. So late one Sunday night, knowing that Monday would be horrible as they always were, I was searching the internet, hoping for a new beginning.

And, I found it…

Thanks to this amazing opportunity, my husband and I both left our jobs, moved to where we really wanted to live (the beach) and very proud that we are making a real difference in the lives of other people and our community. Before coming here, we only talked about “some day” and “maybe” but now we live our dreams everyday.

Through LLI’s product, Beyond Freedom, I learned not only that I have total control over my life and my lifestyle, but how to take control of my life. Beyond Freedom is part of my daily personal development, guiding me to be the best I can be. Before Beyond Freedom, I never really understood how to make the Law of Attraction and The Secret work for me. Now, they are part of everything I do because Beyond Freedom assisted me in changing my thinking to allow them to work.

There is no end to what we know we can create. We are so grateful to have this product and this company in our lives and know without any doubt that God brought us here and we are where He wants us to be. We are grateful to Him for putting this piece of our life puzzle together for us. And we are grateful to the founders of Liberty League for creating something so powerful.

Always, to your success,
Wanda Grindstaff

Plant Your Flag and Claim Your Success

Posted by grndstf on April 18, 2007

When great explorers found new territory, land, islands or even the moon, the first celebration always involved the planting of their flag. By this act, not only did they claim “the new land” but they also made the claim “I assume responsibility for the ownership of this new land”.

Have you planted your flag with your business? Have you claimed your business as your own? Have you claimed your business as your responsibility? Have your claimed the success of your business? Have you actually gotten excited about the unlimited possibilities of your business?

All are very important questions. Too often, we start businesses, especially from home and then never make the claim of success. Would an explorer have just passed by a beautiful uninhabited land and kept going, looking for the perfect land, a land with no challenges, no obstacles, looking only for a land with abundant life but no effort and no belief in the new land?

This is what new business owners do everyday. No wonder more than 80% of new home based businesses fail. There are many opportunities available to the home marketer and a very large majority of those are absolutely legitimate and offer the opportunity to achieve dreams.

The underlying factor of achieving success and experiencing failure must lie on the shoulders of the marketer. As Wallace Wattles points out in the amazing book “The Science of Getting Rich”, two people can do the same thing, in the same place, but one succeeds and the other fails. Only because the successful person “did things in a certain way”. Or as Napoleon Hill suggests in his amazing book “Think and Grow Rich”, One must operate a business as an entrepreneur instead of an employee.

When it comes to your business, the time is “NOW”. Do not wait for the perfect time, the perfect person, or the perfect teacher. Waiting will destroy your business and it will never succeed. The time is now to take action. Be the leader in your business. Apply the “certain way” to your business and of course your attitude. That “certain way” separates leaders from followers. In order to succeed at any business, you must be the leader. Leaders are irresistibly attractive to other leaders.

When you fail to be the leader, you are therefore the victim. The victim gives away all power, the victim will never succeed because no one who is looking to succeed will associate or give any authority to the word of a victim. Leaders look to work with other leaders.

So plant your flag. Claim success for your business. Read these two powerful books and apply the principles in them now, not later. Be the outrageously successful leader you truly are.

Plant your flag and claim your success today!

My Simply Successful Secrets

Posted by grndstf on March 27, 2007

I’ve been tagged by Debra Moorhead (Career Development and Empowerment for Women Leaders). I am very honored for the invitation to participate in this project by Aaron Potts at Todayisthatday.com. This is a wonderful and worthwhile venture and I certainly hope my contribution will assist in some small way.

I am traveling this week which brings to mind one of the reasons I “do what I do”. Having time to live my life is what being an entrepreneur is all about for me. My personal Simply Successful Secrets are activities I have developed over the years which prove to produce results for me. Since I am sitting on a deck at my son’s home, overlooking beautiful Lake Norman NC, I am really challenged to stay with my daily habits of success. This is a great opportunity for me to re-focus and get on track for the day, so here we go.

1) I start every day with devotion. I am on a journey of developing a personal relationship with God and give top priority each and every day to being with Him, one on one. This is where I receive my ideas and motivation and set the pace for my day.

2) I work on me. I have learned the hardest thing I will ever have to do in this life is to work on myself, to be the best I can be. It takes a powerful program and consistent daily action to make measurable progress. Each day, as part of my stuctured personal development program, I do the following:

Meditation and visualization on my goals. I see myself in a position of having the life I am creating for myself. Since I live on the beach, this is a very simple activity. I sit on the beach or my deck and just get perfectly still. I can map out my entire life with this one single activity.

Journaling – I review my journal of the previous few days to get into proper alignment with my true purpose and priorities. I then journal, writing about my goals, my plans for the day, the results I will produce that day as well as writing about any dreams I experienced the previous night.

Promise to myself – Each day I make a specific promise of something I want to accomplish or maybe someone I want to contact and make sure I keep that promise before the end of the day. This is a simple thing, but sometimes the most difficult to actually complete.

Reading – I have certain books I read over and over, sometimes a page a day or a chapter a day. Everytime I pick them up, I glean new knowledge and motivation.

3) Once I have completed my personal development, I then work for a couple of ours on my business. I am true to my DMO (Daily Method of Operation), staying focused for a brief time on income producing activities. I have learned I can accomplish more in 2 hours of laser focus than I ever could in 12 hours of just working at my business.

4) Masterminding with other leaders and successful people who are on a similar track as myself. Either by telephone calls or email, I communicate with one person from my shortlist of mentors each and every day. This brings me to a higher level of awareness and each time I get new tidbits from them to make a real difference in my life and my journey.

The above activities take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours of each day to complete. Once I have done this, then I do the most important thing of all.

I live my life. I have some enormous goals for myself and accomplishing what I want in life does not require that I work all the time or worry about how they will come about. It is very important to allow them to happen. I take the daily action and then get out and live my life. It can be as simple as sitting on the beach reading. Or maybe fishing, golfing, shopping or helping out with a community project. But the power is in the action, so I have fun.

I MUST be gratefull for all I have in my life and if I do not take time to enjoy it, how can I possibly demonstrate this gratitude. To me, this is probably the most important daily activity of all. Many people ask me how to allow the Law of Attraction to work. The answer is simple, Live your life. Do whatever it is that drives you to want your dreams. Ask yourself, “if I already had the life I am wanting to create, what would I do to enjoy myself?”. Then go out and do it!

I thank Debra Moorhead for the opportunity to participate and I am now tagging:

How I Apply "The Secret" to My Life

Posted by grndstf on February 20, 2007

I have had several questions since my post of yesterday about how to apply the principle of “The Secret” into your life. This is a very interesting question, because all the information in the world will not change anything if you do not know how to apply it.

For me, once I was introduced to the principles, I immediately attracted into my life a business program that took care of that step for me. The way my business came into my life was so bizarre that the only answer had to be that I “attracted” it at the right time.

The product that I represent, has provided me an amazing lifestyle and income is based on these principles. It is a tool that walks you through the process of applying these principles on a day to day business. It allows you to make the changes in your life, your habits, your mindset and your expectations to allow these principles work in your life.

I really do not like to use my blog platform to promote my business, that is not the purpose of starting this blog. However, with the media focus on “The Secret”, people are becoming aware that there is a way to have everything they want.

There is no better business model available to offer anyone the ability to achieve their dreams. Just think, a powerful business, with a powerful compensation model and a product that teaches you to use the principles of “The Secret”. It is a perfect combination. So, I encourage anyone who wants to think big and accomplish big goals to contact me.

Make it a fabulous day,
Wanda

"The Secret"

Posted by grndstf on February 19, 2007

I am absolutely thrilled with the media coverage and the attention given to “The Secret”. I am not a TV enthusiast, however I truly commend Oprah for featuring 2 shows on this amazing book and movie.

I have been involved with this same program for almost three years now. My life has changed from the employee I was before to a successful entrepreneur, all because I hold the beliefs of this system.

I encourage everyone to get involved and change their lives with this amazing book and movie.

To your success
Wanda
